ROCHELLE — Members of 100 Women Who Care of Ogle County recently awarded their Fall Impact Award Donation to the Hub City Senior Center in Rochelle.
Karen McCandless, Linda Graber, Deanna Forrest and Karen Urish presented the award to HCSC Executive Director Diana King.
This donation will help provide for the many activities and services that the center offers to any and all seniors in the Hub City.
Some of these activities include programs such as help with rules of the road, chair yoga, line dancing, transportation, pool and card games, daily lunches, monthly birthday parties, cardio drumming, improving balance, coping mechanisms for overwhelming feelings, chair exercise, information on scams, help with hearing aids and governmental paperwork and referral services, quilting, crafting, movie days and more.
“There is always a lot going on at the Hub City Senior Center, and 100 Women Who Care of Ogle County is pleased to be able to help contribute to the continuance of the great work that is being done there,” a press release said
