ROCHELLE – City Engineer Sam Tesreau has announced the closure of 9th Street between 10th Avenue where the street jogs at 9th Street and 10th Avenue near Tilton School, beginning Tuesday at 7 a.m. June 3 through the end of the day on Thursday, June 6. RMU’s contractor, Queens Construction, will be restoring the pavement for an RMU sanitary sewer repair. Driveway access to residents, within the work zone, may be limited during this time.
Advance warning, barricades, detour and other temporary traffic control devices will be posted near the affected area. Please use caution while traveling in this area and pay special attention to the advanced warning signage, road closed signage and other temporary traffic control devices within or in advance of the work zone. The city appreciates your patience during this project.
