ROCHELLE — Asheri Lynn Campbell, 40, passed away from injuries sustained in a multi car accident on July 16, 2024 that also took the life of her beloved husband, Bryan.  Asheri was born on January 17, 1984, the daughter of Phillip and April (Barringer) Davis in Rochelle, IL.  On May 12, 2009, she married Bryan John Campbell in Las Vegas, NV.  She was a pharmacy technician for many years including at WalMart, Hy-Vee and Lehan Drugs. She recently started a new position working from home to spend more time with her boys.

 Asheri was a loving and supportive wife, mother, daughter and sister.  Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her husband and children, who were her absolute pride and joy. Asheri loved the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards and board games, visiting new places (especially restaurants), and was always up for an adventure. Asheri was the most supportive and positive person ever and gave hugs from the heart. She had a warm welcoming smile, a sweet disposition, and a kindness that touched all that knew her. Her joy for life and her infectious laughter will be dearly missed.

Asheri is survived by her two sons: Grayson and Gryffin Campbell; her parents, Phil and April Davis of Steward, IL; her sister, Calista (Ben Johnson) Gilszmer of Rockfalls, IL; nephew, Nolan Gilszmer; grandmother, Janice Barringer of Rochelle, IL; in-laws, Jack (Becky) Campbell of St. Petersburg, FL and Gayle Campbell of Rochelle; brother-in-law, Brett Campbell of Henderson, NV, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Asheri was preceded in death by her grandparents: Jack Barringer, and Lloyd and Norma Davis.

The visitation will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 P.M., Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle.  The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 26, 2024 at the First Presbyterian Church, 1100 Calvin Road, Rochelle with Pastor Doug Forsberg officiating.  Cremation care will take place after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bryan and Asheri Campbell Memorial Trust Fund that has been established at the Holcomb Bank in Rochelle.
