The Rochelle Hub varsity bowling team faced the Sycamore Spartans for an Interstate 8 Conference rematch this past Tuesday. Sycamore dominated all three games, defeating Rochelle 3,337-2,586 and dropping the Hubs to 2-8 overall and 1-4 in the conference.

DEKALB — The Rochelle Hub varsity bowling team faced the Sycamore Spartans for an Interstate 8 Conference rematch this past Tuesday. Sycamore dominated all three games, defeating Rochelle 3,337-2,586 and dropping the Hubs to 2-8 overall and 1-4 in the conference.
Sycamore won the first game 1,122-871 behind 212 from Tommy Reboletti and 212 from Graham Hilligoss. Sophomore Christian Thorne shot 181 for the Hubs in the first game.
The Spartans took the second game 1,085-834, with Hilligoss firing 211 and Jaxon Lang recording 201. Odle rolled a 193 and senior Devansh Patel recorded 163 for the Hubs.
Sycamore completed the sweep with a 1,130-881 victory in the third game. Hilligoss fired 227 for a match-best 650 series, while Odle and Thorne scored 173 and 169 for Rochelle.
