ROCHELLE – Bradley C. Lynn, 72, of Rochelle passed away Aug. 23.

He was born on Sept. 10, 1948. Brad was a deeply-devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a die-hard fan of the Chicago Bears and had a deep love for fishing. He worked for the Local 219 Sheet Metal Workers Union and spent many years there.

On May 30, 1969 he married the love of his life, Marilyn, and together they shared three children and 52 years in marriage. Bradley was a devoted Christian and a member of the Faith Lutheran Church of Rochelle. He will be missed by many.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife; Marilyn Lynn, children; Jeffrey Lynn, Russell Lynn, Kimberly (José) Zepeda, grandchildren; Alexis (Alexandria) Zepeda, Isella Zepeda, Ava Lynn, Matthew Lynn and Kailee Lynn, siblings; James (Joyce) Lynn and Christine (Scott) Zimmerman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members whom he loved dearly.

He is welcomed into heaven by his mother; Phyllis Emerson-Lynn, as well as his brother; Mark Lynn.

A funeral service for Bradley is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 3 at 2 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home located at 8800 N. Alpine Rd., Machesney Park, IL 61115. A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. until time of service.
