DIXON — Collette “Seedy” R. Frederick, 78, of Dixon, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021 at Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling following an extended illness after pancreatic surgery.

Collette was born November 1, 1943 in Aurora the daughter of Oliver and Frances (Anderson) Miller.  She graduated from Batavia High School in 1961 and from Continental Beauty School in Elgin. Collette married William Frederick on March 9, 1963 in Batavia and was a homemaker who raised three children. She was also a customer service representative at Agco Corp in Batavia for 13 years. She enjoyed cross stitch, sewing and spending time with her family and friends. A devoted Christian, Collette was most recently a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Rochelle.

She is survived by her husband of Dixon; three sons, Perry S. (Chantal) Frederick of Versailles, France, Patrick L. (Shara) Frederick of St. Charles and Peter J. (Amanda) Frederick of Chicago; one sister, Sherry (Edward) Dionisio of North Aurora and four grandchildren, Connor Frederick, Chloe Frederick, Molly Frederick and Oona Frederick.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dan Miller.

A Rememberance Gathering will be held Sunday, Dec. 19 from 1-3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Rochelle.
