ROCHELLE — On Thursday morning, various community organizations worked with the Rochelle Christian Food Pantry to prepare food for those in need of assistance with their Thanksgiving dinner.
Those that helped included representatives from the Rochelle Area Community Foundation, Tyson Foods, Prescott Brothers Ford, Inc., the City of Rochelle, Rochelle Township High School Interact Club and the Rotary club.
“Jenny O'Rorke led the work with gratitude and enthusiasm to those who have donated and for those there to help prepare bags,” RACF Director and Rotarian Emily Anaya said. “It's heartwarming to see how the Rochelle community comes together to lend a helping hand.”
