Fiegenschuh joins chamber board

ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Rochelle City Manager Jeff Fiegenschuh to its Board of Directors.
Fiegenschuh will fill a one-year vacancy left by the resignation of Bruce McKinney, who was the Rochelle City Clerk until his retirement in 2018.
“Bruce McKinney represented the City of Rochelle well on the chamber board over the past 20 years through his commitment and dedication to both organizations and I am committed to doing the same,” said Fiegenschuh. “Working with the chamber to grow and develop our retail base is a high priority for the City of Rochelle. As a director, I look forward to collaborating with former Mayor Olson and the rest of the board to offer a valuable service to local businesses.”
The Rochelle Chamber of Commerce was incorporated on Aug. 1, 1939 and has a rich history of serving the greater Rochelle area with programs and services designed to strengthen the local economy and help a myriad of business types to both locate and expand.
The Rochelle Chamber will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of its annual Golf Play Day. The City of Rochelle/RMU Chamber Play Day will be held on June 9 at the Fairways Public Golf Course.
“We welcome Jeff to the board as he has been a supporter of the chamber and its members in several different ways,” Rochelle Chamber President Tricia Herrera said. “He will certainly be an asset to our organization. We will miss Bruce’s humor and wish him well as he leaves a board to which he has given much of his time, energy, and knowledge.”
