MESA, Ariz. – Gary D. Tabor, 73, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Dixon and Rochelle, passed away Aug. 9.

Gary was born Oct. 24, 1947 in Dixon to Henry Vancel Tabor and Vivian Elaine (Davidson) Tabor.

Gary worked for Rochelle Diesel Power Plant for 25 years and TLC for 11 years and retired.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jerry, and grandsons Nathan and Richard Jr.

Gary is survived by his wife, Jean Tabor, of 56 years of Mesa; son Richard (Marge) Tabor of Rochelle, daughter Rhonda Tabor of Naple, Florida, sister-in-law Sally Tabor of Mesa, grandchildren Matthew of Rochelle, Kristal of Monroe Center, Carmella (Will) Zigler of Dixon, Gary M. Tabor of Amboy, Brian Stoll of Rochelle, Joseph Stoll, Brittney Stoll of Naple, Florida, grandchildren Sadie, Lucy Zigler of Dixon, Hayden Hayes of Monroe Center, Layla and Rylynn of Amboy and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, send donations to hospice care.

A celebration of life will be held at the VFW of Rochelle on Oct. 23 from noon-4 p.m.
