DIXON — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity basketball team concluded the 45th Annual Dixon KSB Holiday Classic on Friday afternoon. Senior Kara Martinez scored a team-high eight points and made two triples, while sophomore Jaydin Dickey added seven points as the Lady Hubs fell 63-35 against Aurora Central Catholic in consolation play. Rochelle (7-11, 0-3 Interstate 8) went 2-2 in the tournament.

Senior Loretta Atkinson totaled seven points and senior Alivia Henkel finished with five points for the Lady Hubs, who will host LaSalle-Peru in Interstate 8 Conference play on Wednesday night. Senior Kennedy Adamski chipped in four points, while juniors Abby Metzger and Erin Murphy each scored two points in the loss to the Chargers.
