DIXON — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity basketball team tipped off the 45th Annual Dixon KSB Holiday Classic with a first-round matchup against United Township on Wednesday. Senior Alivia Henkel scored a team-high 13 points for the Lady Hubs, who fell to the Panthers 66-31 to move into consolation play.
Rochelle (5-10, 0-3 Interstate 8) will play two games on Thursday and one on Friday. Seniors Sydney Tabor and Megan Seebach each recorded five points for the Lady Hubs, while senior Kennedy Adamski added four points and senior Kara Martinez totaled three points on one 3-pointer.
