The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity basketball team suffered a lopsided loss against Stillman Valley on Monday evening. The Cardinals outscored Rochelle 23-6 in the second quarter, ultimately cruising to a 73-34 victory over the Lady Hubs. Senior Alivia Henkel led Rochelle (3-6, 0-0 Interstate 8) with eight points and three steals, while sophomore Jaydin Dickey added six points and two steals.

STILLMAN VALLEY — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity basketball team suffered a lopsided loss against Stillman Valley on Monday evening. The Cardinals outscored Rochelle 23-6 in the second quarter, ultimately cruising to a 73-34 victory over the Lady Hubs. Senior Alivia Henkel led Rochelle (3-6, 0-0 Interstate 8) with eight points and three steals, while sophomore Jaydin Dickey added six points and two steals.

Junior Kendyl Darby recorded six points and four rebounds for the Lady Hubs, who will open Interstate 8 Conference action with a road game against Sycamore on Wednesday evening. Junior Abby Metzger compiled five points, three rebounds and two steals, while senior Loretta Atkinson contributed three points on one 3-pointer and one assist in the loss.
