MORRIS — Junior Ian Metzger carded a 1-under-par 34 to earn medalist honors and lead the Rochelle Hub varsity golf team to its second straight Interstate 8 Conference victory on Tuesday evening.
Sophomore Alex Dyer finished with 41 for the Hubs, who edged out the Morris Redskins for a 165-168 win at The Creek to stay unbeaten in conference play. Sophomore Johnny Chadwick and senior Chris Hickey each turned in scores of 45 to aid Rochelle (5-1, 2-0 Interstate 8) in the win.
The Hubs will be back in action on Thursday evening, when Rochelle faces North Boone and Oregon in a nonconference meet at Beaver Creek.
