POPLAR GROVE — The Rochelle Hub varsity golf team battled Oregon and North Boone in nonconference action on Wednesday. Rochelle finished third in the three-team meet, scoring 205 while Oregon totaled 195 and North Boone won the meet with 186. The Hubs fell to 0-8 on the season.
Junior Griffin Ohlinger led Rochelle with 43, while juniors Damen Harrington and Wade Smith followed with respective scores of 53 and 55. Senior Rowan Williams added 54 for the Hub varsity team.
