ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Hub varsity golf team posted its strongest score of the season on Tuesday, falling 170-193 against Sycamore in an Interstate 8 Conference matchup to move to 0-12 on the season. Junior Griffin Ohlinger led the Hubs with 42, while junior Damen Harrington fired 45. Junior Wade Smith and senior Rowan Williams each carded 53 for Rochelle in the loss against the Spartans.
Rockford
The Rochelle Hub varsity golf team competed in the Brad Fowler Invitational hosted by Rockford East on Saturday, finishing 16th out of 19 schools with 397. Junior Griffin Ohlinger carded 85 to place 23rd overall and lead Rochelle in the tournament.
Plano
The Rochelle Hub varsity golf team battled Plano on the road Friday, falling 184-212 and dropping to 0-11 on the season. Junior Griffin Ohlinger scored 49 to lead the Hubs, while junior Damen Harrington followed with 51 in the Interstate 8 Conference road loss against the Reapers.
