Habitat for Humanity of Ogle County to raffle off playhouse

Posted

OREGON — Habitat for Humanity of Ogle County is excited to bring the opportunity for a local family to win a 6x10 hand-crafted playhouse. Seth McMillan, Oregon High School’s FFA teacher, and his class worked hard during the school year building and learning the ins and outs of construction. The class has shown excellent design and craftmanship in building the playhouse, which includes two windows and a small front deck area. Habitat was thrilled to be the recipient of this project and will be raffling off the playhouse with the proceeds to be used to purchase materials for their next home build, which will take place in Davis Junction. Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the summer at various locations as well as through the Habitat website — www.habitatoglecounty.org. The winning ticket will be drawn on Sept. 20 at the Oregon High School homecoming game.
