Hickory Nuts elects new officers

ROCHELLE — On Sept. 17 the Hub Hickory Nuts 4-H Club of Rochelle met for the first
4-H meeting of the year, electing officers and discussing future plans. Elected officers
Elected were President – Veronica Vaughn; Vice-President – Lillian Kennedy; Secretary – Sawyer Stockton; Treasurer – Anne Kennedy; Reporter – Kyra Rimstidt; Historian – Faith Adams and Oliver Vogel; Recreation Committee – Ellie Kennedy, Sophia Stein, Gavin Vogel and Alexis Vaughn; Flag Bearer – Shelby Harbaugh.
On Saturday, Sept. 22, the club met at Rochelle Eye Care Center to put together the 4-H Hay Bale for Hay Day.

The Hub Hickory Nuts 4-H meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at Hicks Hall, Rochelle UMC, 709 4th Ave., Rochelle. The next monthly meeting will be held on Nov. 5.
