ROCHELLE — Judith “Judy” Ann Rollinger, 73, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at her home.
Judy was born on March 6, 1947 to Clyde and Deloras (Kersch) Burrows in Dubuque, Iowa.  She married Edward Joseph Rollinger on Sept. 11, 1965 in Dubuque, Iowa.
Judy touched the lives of many people in the Rochelle area. She worked as a nurses aide at Rochelle Community Hospital for 26 years. She also worked with hospice and local nursing homes. Judy had a big heart and was one of the most caring people you would ever meet. She was selfless and always put the well being of others first. She was very family oriented and proud to be able to witness the birth of her four great-grandchildren. Judy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Ann (Steve) Osborne of Rochelle; two grandchildren, Chelsea (Josiah) Christensen and Steven Tyler (Alexandria Ethridge) Osborne; four great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jotham, and Joanna Christensen and Ivorie Osborne; three sisters, Bonnie (Terry) Maas, Tammy (Ken) Plowman, and Linda (Jack) Plowman; and one brother, Danny (Kathy) Burrows.
In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Ed, and two brothers, Clyde Burrows Jr. and Timothy Burrows.
Due to public health concerns, there will be a private funeral Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Friday, March 20 with Father Ruben Herrera officiating. Burial will follow the service at St. Patrick Cemetery.
Contribution in Judy’s memory may be directed to Serenity Hospice and Home.
