KINGS — Students at Kings School spent all day Sept. 21 rotating through stations learning more about Illinois. They traveled in multi-grade groups of 12 and visited seven stations throughout the day. Stations focused on information and activities related to Illinois, such as square dancing, mapping, agriculture, state symbols, the state song, and more. They ended the day by creating a human number 200 in preparation for the state’s birthday. Students are excited about hosting a bicentennial celebration for Illinois at Kings School on Dec. 3.
