ROCHELLE – As a locally-owned and headquartered community bank, Stillman Bank values every opportunity to give back to their communities. In partnership with FHLBank Chicago and its Community First® Program, they are honored to award Little Hubs Learning Center an Accelerate Grant for Small Businesses, totaling $15,000.
Little Hubs Learning Center, an accredited and licensed daycare center, opened its doors on Jan. 3, 2023. The facility is owned by Ron and Joni Spartz and their daughter, Kristin Spartz Barlow, serves as director of the learning center. Children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old are welcomed into the Little Hubs Learning Center off of 15th Street in Rochelle, which has a 142-child capacity.
Through FHLBank Chicago’s member institutions, like Stillman Bank, Accelerate Grants assist the growth and development of small businesses in Illinois and Wisconsin. All grant recipients are small businesses that make a difference in their community, and funds are intended for the following purposes:
The purchase or improvement of property; the purchase of machinery, tools, or equipment; the purchase of inventory, materials, or supplies; workforce development or training; and new or upgraded technology.
