Man arrested for consumption of alcohol as a minor

May 18
On May 18 at 1:42 a.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop at the 7000 block of South State Route 26. After a short investigation, Dylan Janssen, 19, was placed under arrest for consumption of alcohol by a minor. Janssen was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released to jail staff in lieu of bond.
On May 18 at 2:06 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a physical domestic at an address on Sunflower Lane, Rochelle. After an investigation, Jonathan Hoskins, 27, of Rochelle, was arrested for domestic battery. Hoskins was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
On May 18, at 5:45 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at 901 W. Washington St. After a short investigation, deputies arrested Tabatha Clarkson, 26, for no valid driver’s licenses. Clarkson was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was released to Correctional Officers in lieu of bond.
May 19
On May 19 at 11:39 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop in the entrance of Rolling Meadows trailer park. After an investigation, Marissa Montero, 28, of Wisconsin, was arrested for driving while license suspended. Montero was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
On May 19 at approximately 9:19 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Grand Detour area of rural Dixon for the report of an accident with injuries. Upon arrival, it was learned that a gray Chevy Impala had fled the scene after striking a parked car and a female pedestrian. The female pedestrian, Brittany Vyas, 24, of Rock Falls, received minor injuries and was transported to KSB Hospital by Dixon Rural Ambulance. Deputies later located the driver of the Chevy, Kaitlyn Dexter, 23, of Dixon. Dexter was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident (Class 4 Felony), aggravated battery (Class 3 Felony), and reckless driving (Class A Misdemeanor). Dexter was confined at the Ogle County Jail awaiting a court appearance. Upon release from KSB Hospital, Vyas was charged with battery to Dexter for an incident that occurred prior to the accident. Vyas was confined at the Ogle County Jail pending bond.
