Oregon man arrested for cannabis, string of burglaries

On Jan. 27, Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Lake LaDonna for a report of suspicious activity. While in the area deputies located a suspicious vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on a black Dodge Durango. As a result of the stop, deputies arrested Brandon Miller, 28, of Oregon for possession of cannabis. Further investigation into Miller by deputies and detectives concluded that Miller was responsible for committing more than a dozen burglaries at Lake LaDonna and the Rock River Marina over the last month. Miller was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond. The investigation into these burglaries is ongoing.
