OREGON — Pegasus Special Riders will be holding two volunteer training sessions for individuals interested in joining the team of volunteers who assist riders and the instructors in lessons.
The training sessions will be held Saturday, April 11 at 10 a.m. or Monday, April 13 at 5 p.m. Demonstrations on getting horses ready for lessons, leading or side-walking with the rider and therapeutic horsemanship will be given in the arena.
No experience is needed as Pegasus will provide all necessary training. These events also are a refresher course for current volunteers.
