ROCHELLE — Effective Monday, June 22, Rochelle Community Hospital visitor restrictions will allow one dedicated visitor per patient in the facility.
With the reduction in new positive COVID cases and a partial reopening of businesses, RCH is easing, not eliminating, visitor restrictions. We know that when patients have a loved one with them they have less anxiety and often have better outcomes. Therefore, one dedicated visitor per patient will be allowed on the Medical/Surgical floor, Emergency Department and outpatient clinics.
The visitor accompanying the patient must be the same person every visit for inpatient visits and emergency visits. Visitors must meet screening/masking requirements and remain masked for the duration of the visit anywhere in the facility, including the patient’s room.
Be assured RCH continues to review what additional areas can reopen based on meeting public health thresholds and State requirements. The health and safety of patients and staff are always top priority.
