RCH reminds public masking still applies for healthcare settings

ROCHELLE — With the changes in mask mandates, please note that federal rules still require masks in healthcare settings. Therefore, anyone entering Rochelle Community Hospital still needs to mask properly until further notice.

Masks are available at RCH entrances. Anyone entering the hospital is asked to be respectful to RCH staff as they continue to follow the required masking guidelines. 

In the month between Jan. 28 and Feb. 28, COVID-19 metrics have improved locally and in the state. The Ogle County positivity rate dropped from 18.37 percent to 5.9 percent, Region 1’s dropped from 18.5 percent to 3.4 percent and the state’s has dropped from 13.8 percent to two percent.
