MAPLE PARK — The Rochelle Middle School track and field team went head-to-head against Kaneland Harter Middle School on the road Thursday afternoon. The Lady Royal seventh-graders fell by a score of 78.5-30.5, while the Royal seventh-graders lost 73.5-34.5. The Lady Royal eighth-graders girls fell 64-44 and the Royal eighth-graders were taken down 66-35.

7^th Girls

Kyrie Craigin won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 21 seconds, while Dylan Etes finished second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 15.2 seconds and second in the 800-meter run with a time of 3:21.9. Emely Hernandez placed second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 34.9 and third in the 1600-meter run with a time of 7:51.2. Rochelle took second in all three relays including the 400-meter relay, the 800-meter relay and the 1600-meter relay.

Savanna Wilson took second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:28.1 and third in the long jump with a distance of 10 feet 1 inches. Etes won the shot put with a heave of 15 feet and Abby Losoya took third in the discus with a throw of 26 feet 11 inches.

7^th Boys

Van Gerber won the 100-meter dash with a time of 15.3 and the triple jump with a leap of 23-8. Mark Green finished second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 31.2 and second in the shot put with a heave of 25-5. Gabe Montes placed second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:27.9 and Declan McGee won the 1600-meter run with a time of 6:06.9.

Wyatt Worthington won the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 22.2 and took second in the triple jump with a leap of 21-3. Rochelle finished second in both the 800-meter relay and the 1600-meter relay. Brandin Kirk placed fourth in the shot put with a throw of 33-3.

8^th Girls

Makayla Lara finished second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 14.9 and Makayla Ludwig took second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 44.8. Arline Villanueva placed third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:17.2 and Zoe White won the 800-meter run with a time of 3:08.9. Aaliyah Losoya won the 1600-meter run with a time of 9:41.9.

Rochelle took second in both the 800-meter relay and the 1600-meter relay. Losoya placed second in the shot put with a heave of 20 feet and second in the discus with a throw of 46-1. Jayden Johnson finished second in the high jump with a clearance of 3-10 and Lara won both the long jump with a distance of 12-7 and the triple jump with a distance of 25-3.

8^th Boys

Jackson Smith won the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.8 and the long jump with a leap of 12-1 ½. Chris Hickey won the triple jump with a distance of 22-9 and Luis Blas took second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:17.6. Trent Kreider took second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 34.9 and second in the 1600-meter run with a time of 6:32.8.

Rochelle won the 400-meter relay and Smith took second in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:42.4. Cash Budde finished fourth in the shot put with a heave of 17-6 and fourth in the discus with a throw of 47-2. Kreider placed second in the long jump with a distance of 8-4.
