ROCHELLE — On Sunday, March 28, 2021, Stanley Williams was called to be home with the Lord at the age of 64.
Stanley, who preferred to go by “Stan,” was born on Oct. 18, 1956 in Rochelle to James T. Williams and Betty (Manning) White. Stan worked for Rochelle Printing for more than 30 years.
Stan enjoyed classic country music, gospel music and reading his Bible. Stan also was a big fan of Ronald Reagan and the Chicago Bears. Stan is known for his wit, sense of humor and his love of God.
Stan was preceded in death by his father, James T., and his mother, Betty; stepfather, Don White; and his grandson, Kayden Williams.
Stan is survived by his children, Michele (Paul) Chapman, Melissa Rutherford, Laticia Rutherford, Christina Rutherford and Jessica Williams.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, April 1 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Rochelle, 810 N. Woolf Court in Rochelle.
