BENT TREE, Ga. — Thomas “Tom” J. Dicus, 85, of Bent Tree, Georgia, passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2020 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. He was born Dec. 13, 1934 to Hazel and Lloyd Dicus in Rochelle.  
Tom was a Master Mason (50 year member), a Master Dyer (25 years), owner of Turfway Lawn Equipment in Tequesta, Florida, member of Jasper United Methodist Church, and a 22-year resident of Bent Tree. He was a very creative and artistic man.
Tom volunteered with different organizations throughout his life. Most recently he volunteered with Piedmont Mountainside Auxiliary, Jasper Community Thrift Store, and Jasper United Methodist Church.
Tom is survived by his wife of 66 years, Donna Dicus, of Bent Tree; sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Angie Dicus and Don and Tonya Dicus; daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Tom Rabic and Connie and Randy Jackson; sister, Susan Andracke; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Lloyd Dicus and his brother, Bobby Dicus.    
A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions in Tom’s honor may be made to Rochelle Township High School Alumni Association at PO Box 622, Rochelle, IL  61068 or Jasper United Methodist Church at 85 W. Church St., Jasper, GA  30143 or the National Rifle Association at 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA 22030.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Piedmont Mountainside Hospital, Woodstock Nursing Home and Northside Cherokee Hospital.
