The Rochelle Police and Fire Departments were called to the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Main Street Thursday afternoon for a two-vehicle accident. At 3:56 p.m., emergency responders blocked off the street at Fifth Avenue while crews tended to the drivers involved in the accident. One person was transported to Rochelle Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Rochelle police cited Marla Bearrows, 64, of Rochelle, for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.
