Wednesday night’s wind storm brought damage to Rochelle and the surrounding area. One business at 5th Avenue and 6th Street had its awning blown off and Rochelle Municipal Utilities electric crews were out Thursday repairing damage to electric poles near Walmart and on Kyte Road near Flagg Center.

ROCHELLE — Wednesday night’s wind storm brought damage to Rochelle and the surrounding area. One business at 5th Avenue and 6th Street had its awning blown off and Rochelle Municipal Utilities electric crews were out Thursday repairing damage to electric poles near Walmart and on Kyte Road near Flagg Center.
RMU’s Facebook page said Thursday morning that its customers had power and the poles would be repaired shorty.
