Woman arrested for driving while license suspended

On Nov. 29 at approximately 5:49 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 7000 block of South Freeport Road. After further investigation, Heather Stoikes, of Freeport, was placed under arrest for driving while license suspended. Stoikes was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.
Nov. 30
On Nov. 30 at approximately 2:07 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies, along with the Polo Fire Department and Polo EMS were dispatched to a single vehicle accident in the 17000 block of West Illinois Route 64. After an investigation, it was learned that Cynthia R Farmer, 63, of Savanna, had lost control of her vehicle and entered the south side ditch. The vehicle came to rest after striking a tree. Farmer was transported to FHN hospital in Freeport for non-life-threatening injuries. Farmer also received a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Dyers towing removed the vehicle from the location.
On Nov. 30 at approximately 1:45 a.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 8000 block of North Barker Road. After further investigation, Willem Earlywine, 33, of Davenport, Iowa, was placed under arrest for driving while under the influence of alcohol. Earlywine was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
