SYCAMORE — The Rochelle Wrestling Club sent three athletes to the 2024 Sycamore Good Guys Open at Sycamore High School. Joshua Hernandez and Andrew Eyster each earned second-place finishes in the tournament, while Eoghan Good secured a fourth-place finish.
Hernandez took second in the Novice 214 Division with a 2-1 record, concluding the tournament with back-to-back falls over Harvey Twisters wrestler Ace Anderson and Batavia’s Issac Allende. Eyster took second in the Senior 117 Division with a 2-1 record, earning a first-round fall over Rockets Wrestling’s Thomas Schatz and receiving a forfeit from Crystal Lake’s Dylan Jimenez.
Good finished fourth in the Bantam 304 Division to round out the RWC lineup on Sunday.
