On Thursday, March 29, the Ogle County Coroner and Ogle County Sheriff’s Office released the cause of death of Sumire Negishi, of West Lafayette, Ind. On March 16, deputies were dispatched to the 8200 block of North IL Route 251 for a report of an elderly male walking in the area. Deputies located Elichi Negishi, 82, of West Lafayette, Ind., and transported him to a Rockford hospital for treatment.
