Crest Foods management will be hiring on the spot for all open positions across all three shifts.

ASHTON — Local dry food manufacturer, Crest Foods Co, Inc., is hosting a job fair on Friday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mills & Petrie in Ashton. The company is hiring for a wide variety of positions including production, sanitation and maintenance. Crest Foods management will be hiring on the spot for all open positions across all three shifts.
“Crest Foods is a large local employer offering exceptional benefits,” Jeff Meiners, president, said. “We provide free transportation, 11 paid holidays, on-site nurses and lab services, and even free vacations for 10-year employees. Crest Foods is different, and that’s something we’re very proud of.”
In addition to interviews, River Country 101.7 will be broadcasting live from the event to share more about the opportunities available at Crest Foods and their unique, culture-driven environment. The Northside BarbaQ food truck will also be on site and available for lunch orders for attendees, current employees and any interested residents.
“We knew we wanted to host an event that would shine a spotlight on the Crest culture that we’ve cultivated for the past 75 years. ‘Have some fun’ is written right into our culture statement, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do,” Erika Meiners, HR manager, said.

Crest Foods Co., Inc. is a third generation, Meiners family-owned dry food manufacturer founded in 1946. The company operates out of centrally-located Ashton and employs a workforce of 650.
