ROCHELLE  – The Rochelle Area Community Foundation (RACF) is delighted to announce, “Granting Futures: A Community Celebration”, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 24. The event will be held at Luna, formally known as Salt 251, located at 531 S. 7th St., Rochelle, from 4-6 p.m., with the formal presentation to commence at 4:30 p.m.

This event, open to the public and free to attend, promises an evening of inspiration and community empowerment. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy delightful hors d’oeuvres. Additionally, a cash bar will be available to complement the festivities.

“Granting Futures: A Community Celebration” serves as a platform to showcase the invaluable work of RACF and the impactful initiatives supported by the foundation. As we gather, we will honor the dedication of the nonprofits that tirelessly serve our community, fostering growth, resilience, and hope for the future.

Ashley Jackson, RACF board president, said, “We are excited to have surpassed the million-dollar mark in grants given out last year and continue in 2024 by awarding 29 grants which total almost $140,000 to so many deserving nonprofits. We’ve had the privilege of forming deeper relationships with each of the leaders of our non-profits in the community by hosting our quarterly meetings where we share, learn and grow! I am so excited for this event and for our community to come out and learn more about what each of these organizations do.”

Attendees can anticipate an engaging program featuring insights from RACF and donor advisors along with some time before and after the program for networking and collaboration.
