DAR’s “In Her Shoes” program to support HOPE of Ogle County

ROCHELLE — In partnership with Hope of Ogle County, the Rochelle Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold its next meeting on Saturday, Oct. 10 beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Creston Opera House.
The Financial Justice edition of “In Her Shoes,” a socially distanced, experience based, domestic violence, community education event will be presented. The event is open to the public (suggested age high school and above) who should plan to arrive any time between 1:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. to participate in the self-paced scenario.
There is no charge for tickets, but donations for HOPE of local gift cards valued at $10 to $20 would be appreciated. The Rochelle Chapter will also be presenting three scenarios, one each in three separate Zoom sessions for those who wish to participate virtually. The Zoom sessions are scheduled at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, and at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11. Contact the chapter via email at ViceRegent.DAR.Rochelle@gmail.com for the Zoom links.
