ROCKFORD – In the United States, more than 37 million people suffer from migraines and almost five million people experience at least one migraine attack per month. That’s why SwedishAmerican is hosting a free Latest in Migraine Treatment Ask the Experts event on Wednesday, Aug. 30 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at SwedishAmerican Hospital, first floor conference rooms (enter through the Heart Hospital).
Headache Specialist Dr. Jeffrey Royce will discuss migraine treatment and future directions from new oral medications, antibody therapy, electric and magnetic stimulation of the brain to Botox and nerve blocks.
