Freezer meal fundraiser to benefit Ag in the Classroom

OREGON — Have you been searching for a way to make dinner preparation simple? The University of Illinois Extension has a great opportunity for you to take a night off from cooking. This is also a great gift idea as well.
Order 10 delicious meals that have been prepared and frozen for convenience. Each meal serves three to five people. Meals include: hickory smoked pulled pork, beef taco bake, BBQ meatballs, breakfast burritos, pulled pork mac and cheese, chicken bacon ranch mac and cheese, french toast bake, chicken fajitas, hawaiian chicken, and ham with potatoes and green beans. Is your mouth watering?

Cost for the 10 meals is $165. Proceeds will benefit the Ogle-Carroll Ag in the Classroom Program. To register please mail your name, phone number, number of meal sets (they come in a set of 10 meals), and payment to: 811 S Clay Street, Mt. Carroll, IL 61053. Make checks payable to: Ogle-Carroll Ag Partnership (OCAP).  
You can also order online at: https://go.illinois.edu/meals. Place your order by Friday, March 19. Meal pick-up is March 23 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the University of Illinois Extension office, 421 West Pines Road in Oregon.
Agriculture in the Classroom is a statewide educational program with lessons offered to kindergarten through eighth grade. Its goal is to help students, teachers, and the general public gain greater awareness of the role of agriculture in the economy and society.
Ag in the Classroom is offered through the University of Illinois Extension Ogle County in partnership with Ogle County Farm Bureau, Carroll County Farm Bureau, Ogle County Soil & Water, and Carroll County Soil & Water.
