Rochelle – Chad Nelson has been approved as a director for Holcomb Bank and Holcomb Bancorp Inc as of Oct. 27.
Nelson and his wife, Gretchen, along with their three children, live in rural Byron.
He attended Byron High School, Rock Valley College and Illinois State University. He received the Chartered Leadership Fellow designation from The American College.
Nelson started his insurance career in 1998 and is currently employed with Crum-Halsted Insurance Agency, Sycamore, as a Corporate Benefits Advisor. Nelson’s responsibilities include renewing a current book of insurance business and increasing revenues through new group health insurance clients.
He has corporate training in compliance, ethics, code of conduct, consultative selling, change management, presentation skills, personnel development and performance management.
Nelson will bring his insurance expertise, business sense and human resource talent to the Holcomb Board of Directors.
