ROCHELLE —The Rochelle Township High School math team was “on point” Thursday, kicking off its competition season at Stillman Valley. Overall the Hubs took third place.
Coach Brock Hutchinson said the algebra and geometry teams took the title of first place; the freshman/sophomore team won third place.
In the Algebra I individual test, Peter Forsberg captured the title of first place; Jason Zheng placed second. Team members include Peter Forsberg, Jason Zheng, Miguel Cruz, Jaela Ludwick and Devansh Patel.
In the individual Geometry test, Ariel Zuercher placed second. Team members also include Kiya Herrera, Lauren Hopkins, Anthony Powell, Jesenia Solano and Ariel Zuercher.
The freshman/sophomore team includes Peter Forsberg, Miguel Cruz, Jaela Ludwick, Devansh Patel, Kiya Herrera, Lauren Hopkins, Jesenia Solano and Ariel Zuercher.
