ROCHELLE — Pairings for the IHSA playoffs were released Saturday night and the Rochelle Hubs are ranked eighth in the Class 4A bracket.
Rochelle (6-3) will be hosting ninth seed Chicago Agriculture Science (6-3) this Friday night at 7 p.m.
Other area teams in the Class 4A bracket include Geneseo, Morris, Johnsburg and Dixon.
This is the 18th post-season appearance for the Hubs since coach Kevin Crandall took over the football program. Crandall, who is also RTHS athletic director, will be retiring after the season.
The Hubs gave Crandall a win in his final regular season game on Friday night when they downed Sycamore 43-21 at home.
