CRESTON — The 62nd Annual Creston Booster Days had a little something for everyone — from vintage baseball, tractor pulls, the car show and the auction to the entertainment, food and the parade.
This year’s Cederholm winner is Amy and Mike Kerns for their continuing service to the Creston community.
“They have served on the Creston PTO for over 10 years, on the school board for over 10 years, more than eight years as Dement Township Trustee and over 10 years on our village board,” said event organizer Debby Katzman. “They have donated their time and equipment to assist the village with projects and they have chosen to build homes in the community.”
Katzman said the car show received over 60 entries, which is a record year.
“Mud volleyball was a big hit on Saturday, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather,” said Lonie Sarver, event organizer. “Southern Ride brought in a nice crowd on Saturday night with an awesome fireworks show to end our night.”
