ROCHELLE — KishHealth System Physician Group in Rochelle is located at 450 Coronado Drive. This location features a well-known family medical practitioner, KishHealth System Laboratories and Radiology services, a community room, and comprehensive Cancer Center.
Dr. Persaud is the primary care physician in this location and is a staple in the care of residents of Rochelle.
Radiology services offered at this location include general x-ray and ultrasound. Patients with any doctor’s order may walk in during the hours of 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
The community room offers a large meeting space that is free for use to local non-profit organizations and is used for health education classes as well.

Alan Wan, DO, hematologist and oncologist is the practicing physician for patients of the cancer center. He provides services including medical oncology and hematology, office visits, and infusion treatments such as chemotherapy. Bone marrow biopsies are also able to be performed onsite at this location. Patients of the cancer center are provided with social worker services as well. Dr. Wan was inspired to become a physician because of his grandfather’s battle with cancer.
“Going through the cancer treatment process with my grandfather opened my eyes as to how things were done and I wanted to better that system,” stated Dr. Wan. “Oncology care is all about the patients and melding two things together; their understanding of the disease process as well as their cultural background. I view each patient as a partner in his or her healthcare. I provide my patients with information that they need to actively make decisions and give input about their care.”
Dr. Wan graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in 2008. He completed his Chief Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields, Ill., in 2014. Dr. Wan is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
