Dear Editor,
On Saturday, March 2 we celebrated community, oneness and perseverance. My words can’t express the love and support we have felt during this whole process.
Walking into the VFW I looked around and the sight overwhelmed me, brought tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat. With each basket and donation I passed my heart swelled.

Someone recently told me that each person we know feels our pain, fear and sadness at Tyler’s diagnosis. Each of these people want to help and show their love and support in their own way.
I experienced that on Saturday. From all the time and effort on part of the auxiliary ladies, and the VFW. To all the baskets and donations brought. Not to mention all the people that came out to show their love and support. It was wonderful to see everyone and from the bottom of my heart I want to say thank you.
Thank you for all the love and support. Thank you for the monetary donations.
And lastly, thank you for helping us to not feel alone during this trying time.
