ROCHELLE — Jasmine Hennessee of Rochelle has been selected to participate in the 2018 Miss. Illinois Teen USA Pageant.
She is the daughter of Jason and Brenda Hennessee. The pageant will take place Sept. 1 through Sept. 4 in Bloomington-Normal.
She will be competing at Miss. Teen Rochelle and will compete in athletic wear or swimsuit, evening gown and personal interview. The pageant has two age divisions and the winner will represent the state in the 2018 Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Pageant.

Miss USA goes on to compete in the Miss Universe Pageant. The MissUSA Pageant system stresses good morals, physical fitness, communication skills, social awareness and community involvement.
Hennessee is active within the high school music department. She is also a seamstress and has made her own clothes and tailored for local law enforcement. She has the knowledge to run her own business.
Hennessee is sponsored by friends and family to compete in the pageant. She can still use additional sponsors if anyone is interested in supporting her journey to Miss. Illinois Teen.
