ROCHELLE — A new restaurant and pub is coming to Rochelle this summer.
Rosati’s Pizza and Sports Pub will be located at 1233 Caron Road at the northern end of the strip mall near Wal Mart.
According to the Rochelle City Council’s agenda for Monday, April 9, Rosati’s submitted an application for a Class R-3 liquor license, which would allow the retail sale of alcoholic liquor by a restaurant for consumption on premises.
Council members are expected to vote on the matter during Monday evening’s meeting at City Hall, which begins at 7 p.m.
If approved by City Council, it would make a total of eight Class R-3 liquor licenses in the city.
City officials confirmed Rosati’s plans to open around June of 2018.
