Nine seniors to be featured at Friday’s Vocal Jazz Night

ROCHELLE — Friday is Vocal Jazz Night featuring samba, acapella, and swing music and music by Frank Sinatra, Pentatonix, a wildly successful a cappella group.
Tickets are $3 for students and senior citizens and $5 for everyone else.  

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium and doors open at 7 p.m.
Seniors Emma Valentine and Nick Whisman have prepared an arrangement of “Can't Help Falling in Love” to be performed by the After Hours vocal jazz ensemble.
The music department is pleased to announce that Candace McMurray will continue her vocal music education at Western Michigan University where she competed for and won a scholarship.
All state musicians Nephertiti Valle, Whisman, McMurray and YouTube sensation Angela Zamarron, are among the nine seniors: Elijah Ball, Annette Gonzalez, Brielle Jackson, McMurray, Valentine, Valle, Austin Werkmeister, Whisman and Zamarron, who will perform along with underclassmen.
