The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, Ogle County Health Department, Ogle County Probation Services and the Ogle County Board would like to invite the public to attend an open house to tour the newly renovated Ogle County Services building at 510 Lincoln Highway in downtown Rochelle.

Open house set for county’s new facility

ROCHELLE — The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, Ogle County Health Department, Ogle County Probation Services and the Ogle County Board would like to invite the public to attend an open house to tour the newly renovated Ogle County Services building at 510 Lincoln Highway in downtown Rochelle.
The open house will be on Jan. 24 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Probation

The Rochelle office of probation and court services is a satellite office available for probation officers to meet with clients and families who reside in Rochelle and other communities located on the eastern side of Ogle County.
Health
The health department will have a satellite office at this location and will offer services regarding maternal child health, including Family Case Management, Health Works, Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes Reporting and breastfeeding support. Additionally, sexually transmitted disease testing and law draw services will be provided.
Emergency management
The Ogle County Sheriff, through the Ogle County Emergency Management Agency, is responsible for coordinating the local emergency/disaster preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation efforts of Ogle County to ensure that the county will be adequately prepared to deal with natural or technological emergency and disaster causes to preserve the lives and property of the people of Ogle County and to protect the public peace, health, and safety in the event of a disaster.
