ROCKFORD – Fehr Graham, a leading Midwest engineering and environmental firm, is pleased to announce the hiring of Ryan Peterson as a hydrogeologist.

“We are excited to have Ryan join our team because he has a strong background in field investigative work,” said Joel Zirkle, one of the firm’s seven owners and manager of the Rockford office. “Ryan is another Northern Illinois University graduate joining our assessment and remediation team, which makes it stronger because its members share a common educational experience. That will only help us better serve our valued clients.”

Peterson completed the Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard 40-hour training course. He also is certified in Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments. Peterson is a member of Sigma Gamma Epsilon (geologic honor society). Prior to joining Fehr Graham, Peterson has worked for firms in the Chicago area.

Peterson earned a bachelor’s degree in geology and environmental geosciences from Northern Illinois University.
