ROCHELLE — Over the past few weeks, members of the Rochelle Area Community Foundation Board have been traveling across Northern Illinois to distribute over $92,000 in grant money to 25+ establishments benefiting 30+ projects, a press release said.
Recipient non-profit organizations have focuses ranging from health and wellness, hunger relief, arts and culture, education and more.
“The RACF aims to improve quality of life in the community through charitable giving, and as you can imagine one of the most rewarding parts of being part of this organization is to do just that,” the release said. “The money invested back into our communities is having an impact on thousands of lives and we could not be more proud to help these organizations fulfill their mission.”
